Team
Five of our team members have worked at other companies with our founders. Three new team members—including our engineering lead—have been with us since Day 1 of Aster Key. Two are so security focused they never turn on their camera (and we talk almost daily).
Because of how we’re structured, no financial data ever leaves the U.S. or is accessed by foreign nationals. We hold firm to our mantra: financial data stays solely on the consumer’s own mobile device – that only they can access.

Brad Blumberg
Brad Blumberg cut his teeth in real estate before co-founding Smarter Agent—the original mobile real estate app that went on to power the biggest names in the industry. Now, at Aster Key, Brad is taking on the financial system, leading the charge to give consumers real control over their financial data and how it’s used. With over a dozen patents (and counting) in mobile data technology, Brad’s mission is clear: break the mold, fix what’s broken, and build a better lending experience that values the consumer’s data as their property.

Eric Blumberg is a tech architect with a history of building what comes next. As co-founder of Smarter Agent, he helped reshape how real estate is bought and sold—well before mobile was mainstream. At Aster Key, he’s the mind behind the tech that locks down user data and opens up new possibilities in lending. With a deep background in building secure, scalable data platforms, Eric’s work is redefining what’s possible in fintech—and proving that privacy and performance go hand in hand.
